Roof rail & roof rack module
Our standard Solar Slide system fits seamlessly onto most popular campervans equipped with roof rails or C-profile mounting systems - including Sprinter, Crafter, Jumper, Ducato, and more.
This setup features three solar panels (up to 1500Wp) that slide out to both sides and tilt for optimal sun exposure.
Still want to keep your existing roof rack or cargo carrier? No problem. We’ll design a custom mounting system that integrates your Solar Slide without compromising your current setup.
Sizing & dimensions
We tailor every Solar Slide to fit your chosen solar panels. Most standard panels (400–550Wp) range from 170–220 cm in length, but we can accommodate panels as small as 100Wp.
Slide-out module adds approx. 20 cm
Tilt module adds another 20 cm
Total system height: 15 cm
Adhesive module
For alcove campers or motorhomes with plastic roofs, we offer special adhesive modules.
These mount securely without drilling, using high-strength bonding systems.
Only a single hole is needed for cable entry, making installation both simple and watertight.
Manual slide-out module
For off-road vehicles or compact vans like the VW Caddy or Transporter - where rooftop access is easy from the ground - we offer manual Solar Slide units. These include 1 or 2 solar panels that you can slide out by hand when parked. It’s a lightweight, budget-friendly way to boost your solar capacity.
Automatic tilt module
For serious power generation - especially in the winter - our tilt module significantly increases efficiency. A tilted panel can yield up to 6–7 times more power compared to a flat one. The tilt mechanism is designed to lean toward the driver’s side, ensuring the panel doesn’t block the sliding side door.
Automatic slide-out module
Ideal for higher vans or motorhomes, this system uses electric actuators to deploy your solar panels automatically. Connected to your vehicle’s ignition, the system retracts the panels when you start driving - no need to remember. You can also control it via a Bluetooth app or a dashboard-mounted button.
PLC-controlled systems
Our automatic Solar Slide systems are powered by a robust Siemens LOGO! PLC, housed in a weatherproof aluminum enclosure mounted on the roof. This industrial-grade control unit ensures smooth, safe, and reliable operation in any weather condition.
